Here are some photographs from Russel Lee. He took them with first "kodachrome" color films during the Great Depression and Second World War in USA. He worked for Government to illustrate USA's estate.

I show you them because this is an "unique" evidence in color from 30-40's and all these hot "lost" colors from the past are beyond the fake photoshop's filters...

Those are movie parts from "Häxan"... Dark atmosphere and satanic/religious references! It's a little bit long but show it! This is a masterpiece, really!
Music is from Coil, an "industrial/gothico/experimental" band. This song is quietly pleasant despite of "Ushuaïa" (for french people) and "Enigma synthetiser" sounds.

In San Francisco, "the Reverend" Brendan Powell Smith illustrates stories from the Bible, old & new Testaments with Lego bricks. I found some books in a little library in Paris last year. I thought that it was an "obscure" release from a fanatic for kids... But, if you check all stories & their illustrations, you're firstly impressed by all the details, characters moods and incredible sets...
